B/2 Visitor's visa

As of January 9th, Israel will open its borders to international tourism from countries that are not classified as “Red”, with specific restrictions.

A foreign national that completed their vaccination more than 14 days before their travel and less than 180 days before the day they plan to leave Israel, is able to visit the country

Please see below the requirements for a visitor’s visa to Israel:

  1. Valid passport for at least 1 year from today
  2. All applicants should submit their old passports ( if they have)
  3. Passport picture, 5cmX5cm, American Standard size
  4. Duly filled and signed visa application form 2020
  5. Invitation letter from an Israeli citizen/organization with verifiable contact details
  6. Employment letter from current employer with verifiable contact details
  7. Proof of Medical insurance covering COVID-19 for your stay in Israel
  8. Tentative travel dates (unpaid booking)
  9. Personal bank statement for the last 6 months (True certified)
  10. Bank Consent form is a must filled and signed.

VISA application fee of KES 4,342 + Service charge of KES 2,553 (inclusive of VAT).

A B/2 visa is granted to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time (for a visit, tourism, a business meeting or study in a Hebrew ulpan). A person who enters Israel on a B/2 visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel.

A B/2 visa is valid for up to three months from the date of issue. The duration of the stay in Israel will be determined by the Border Police. A visitor who wishes to extend his visit may submit an application at one of the regional population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.

Please note: A minor will not be given a visa without the written consent of both parents, or his legal guardian(s), an affidavit signed by an attorney, Original birth certificate dully certified and stamped (Along with covering letter) From Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The consul may request additional documents.

Visa application processing takes 1 Month.

No documents or Photos should be STAPLED or GLUED.

EXCEPTIONS BAHAI CATEGORIES

  1. Baha'i with a confirmation from the interior-(Hebrew letter); he/she needs only (1) visa application form, (2) the letter from the interior, (3) Photos, (4) no visa fee, (5) Passport (valid 6 months, 3 empty double pages).
  2. Baha'i without any confirmation, needs to bring all the requirements, just like any other application, and should pay visa fee.
  3. Baha'i volunteers, needs to bring (1) visa application form (2) a confirmation letter from the Baha'i world center in Israel (3) Photo (4) passport and should pay for the visa. (Please note the letter should mention that all the expenses are taken care of by the center including the insurance).

Since the fee is collected for handling the application, it will not be refunded to the applicant if the visa is not issued for any reason.
