Student visa

As of January 9th, Israel will open its borders to international tourism from countries that are not classified as “Red”, with specific restrictions.

Please see below the requirements for a visitor’s visa to Israel:

  1. Valid passport for at least 1 year from today
  2. All applicants should submit their old passports ( if they have)
  3. Passport picture, 5cmX5cm, American Standard size
  4. Duly filled and signed visa application form 2020
  5. Invitation letter from an Israeli citizen/organization with verifiable contact details
  6. Employment letter from current employer with verifiable contact details
  7. Proof of Medical insurance covering COVID-19 for your stay in Israel
  8. Tentative travel dates (unpaid booking)
  9. Personal bank statement for the last 6 months (True certified)
  10. Bank Consent form is a must filled and signed.

This visa is granted to those who want to study in Israel in elementary and high schools, academic institutions, yeshivot and youth institutions of the Jewish Agency.

The visa is valid for up to one year and for multiple entrances and exits. Recipients of this visa are not permitted to work in Israel.

Please note: A minor will not be given a visa without the written consent of both parents, or his legal guardian(s), an affidavit signed by an attorney, Original birth certificate dully certified and stamped (Along with covering letter) From Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visa is granted to students who provide the following:

  1. Certification of acceptance for study at a recognized educational institution in Israel .including dates of beginning and ending of educational program.
  2. Proof that the student has the financial means to pay for his studies and sustenance throughout his stay in Israel: (personal bank statement for the past 6 months.(True certified) , proof of paying dormitories or place to live, proof of paying tuition, proof of allowance for expenses in Israel).
  3. Payment of the tuition fee if on partial or no scholarship.
  4. Travel and medical insurance for the entire period
  5. Original certificate of good conduct if holding UGANDA passport and below 40 years dully certified and stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  6. Flight itinerary.
  7. VISA application fee of KES 8,467 + Service charge of KES 2,553 (inclusive of VAT). Total is KES 11,020 Mode of payment is either cash (KES/USD) or Mpesa Paybill number: 516833.
